QoEVal platform

The QoEVal platform aims to provide the research community with a simple, effective, comprehensive tool that complies with the community's recommendations for the construction of subjective databases that are necessary to estimate the user's feelings.
It consists of two components:
- a hardware component consisting of server, encoding device, display devices, emotion sensor
- a software component composed of various video encoding software, a network emulator and than a human-machine interface necessary for the conduct of tests
The goal is to emulate a realistic test environment that is consistent with video viewing experiences on the Internet. The databases collected include a large number of relative parameters / factors that emanate from the users, the application, the network or the display devices.
