Obtention de 2 prix suite à la publication du standard IEEE P1872-2015

Deux prix ont été obtenus suite à la publication, par le WG ORA, du standard IEEE P1872-2015 (Standard Ontologies for Robotics and Automation) :
- Certification of Appreciation Award décerné en 2015 par l’IEEE Robotics and Automation Society (RAS).
- IEEE-SA Emerging Technology Award décerné en 2015 par l’IEEE Standards Association.

Le standard IEEE P1872-2015 auquel a contribué l’équipe SIRIUS a été cité en 2016 dans le document "The National Artificial Intelligence Research and Development Strategic Plan" (page 32), élaboré par la Maison Blanche (USA).

"One example of an AI-relevant standard that has been developed is P1872-2015 (Standard Ontologies for Robotics and Automation), developed by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). This standard provides a systematic way of representing knowledge and a common set of terms and definitions. These allow for unambiguous knowledge transfer among humans, robots, and other artificial systems, as well as provide a foundational basis for the application of AI technologies to robotics."

Organisation de l'école d'été "Facial Biometrics and applications"

Avec le soutien de l’UPEC, l'organisation de l’école d’été «Facial Biometrics and applications » se déroulera du 29 juin au 10 juillet 2015.
L’objectif est de présenter à des étudiants de niveau Master/Doctorat ainsi qu’à des ingénieurs et chercheurs, les technologies de pointe en matière de biométrie faciale.
Le programme sera marqué par la participation de plusieurs experts nationaux et internationaux des universités, écoles ou entreprises suivantes : University of Kunsan (Corée du Sud), Lab. VISAGE (Canada), Sapienza University of Rome (Italie), Ecole Centrale de Lyon, MORPHO (France), ENSICAEN, EURECOM, TELECOM Lille.
